Cuts Leave 33 Players in Camp
The Kings cut their roster again, with defenseman Richard Seeley and centers Matt Zultek and Scott Barney being returned to their junior clubs, and defensemen Sean Blanchard and Peter Hogan, center Chris Schmidt and defenseman/winger Joe Corvo going to Springfield of the American Hockey League. There are 33 players left in camp--20 forwards, 10 defensemen and three goaltenders. . . . Defensemen Steve Duchesne and Jaroslav Modry did not skate because of bruises suffered in the victory over the Mighty Ducks.
