Yeager Named President at 3 Day Blinds

Randy Yeager is the new president and chief operating officer of Anaheim-based 3 Day Blinds Inc., a manufacturer and retailer of window coverings. He was formerly president and chief executive of Ralston Enterprises in Tustin, and before that was director of retail stores for the Eddie Bauer company.

Cheryl Isen has been named vice president of corporate communications for VitalCom Inc. in Tustin. She joined the company last year as senior director of corporate communications. Before that, Isen was senior director of corporate communications at Phamis Inc.

Janet Dillavou has been appointed manager of branch operations for Downey Savings and Loan Assn.’s retail banking division. She had been a central operations manager and manager of teleservices for the division.

Lee Kim has joined Platinum Software Corp. in Irvine as vice president and corporate controller. Kim was formerly vice president, controller and chief accounting officer at FileNet Corp. and director of finance at Wonderware Corp.

Kenneth Brinkerhoff has joined Mariner Networks Inc. in Anaheim, a wholly owned subsidiary of Odetics Inc., as vice president of engineering and chief technology officer. He was previously vice president of engineering and chief technology officer for Escalate Networks Inc. and vice president of engineering at Standard Microsystems Corp.

David L. Stone has been named chief financial officer of Telenetics Corp. in Lake Forest. He had been vice president and chief financial officer of SmartDisk Corp. in Florida. Stone has also held several executive offices at Tylan General Inc., including chief financial officer and executive vice president.

Marcie Braver has been appointed chief operations officer for SDI Capital in Newport Beach. She previously spent five years as a tax manager at KPMG Peat Marwick LLP in New York City.

Scot Thomas has been named chief executive of Experian’s Marketing Solutions division. He had been president of Experian Direct Technology. Rick Cortese, president of Information Services, has been appointed chief executive of the Information Solutions division. The two main business units, Information Solutions and Marketing Solutions, will now comprise the North American arm of Orange-based Experian. Previously the company had maintained four separate operational divisions.

David Harvey has joined Carlile/Coatsworth/Shankweiler Architects Inc. in Irvine as a production and design architect. He was previously a draftsman for Knitter & Associates and Bassenian Lagoni in Newport Beach. Charles T. Dew Jr. was named a project architect, and J. Christopher Schneider joined the firm as a project manager.

Tim McMahon has rejoined the Newport Beach office of Grubb & Ellis Co. as a senior vice president with the retail services group. He had been an executive vice president with Pentz & Partners, in charge of the retail brokerage operation. Before that, McMahon was with Grubb & Ellis for 15 years.

Paul Kuliev has been named chief financial officer at Sukut Construction Inc. in Santa Ana. Most recently, he was vice president and controller for ARV Assisted Living in Costa Mesa and before that was audit manager in the Irvine office of Arthur Andersen LLP.

Robert MacNeil has joined Schraff Group in Newport Beach as director of interactive services for the marketing-communications firm. He was formerly with DeltaNet/Concentric Networks as district manager for Southern California. MacNeil has also held sales-management positions with Vanir Development/Jaeger Develop and Video Concepts.

Jim LeSieur has been elected chairman of the board of Habitat for Humanity of Orange County. LeSieur, president and chief executive of Sunwest Bank in Tustin, will serve a one-year term.

*Abdo H. Khoury has been named senior vice president and chief financial officer of ARV Assisted Living Inc. in Costa Mesa. Khoury, who was previously a vice president, had assumed responsibility for the treasury and asset strategy functions in January, after serving as president of ARV’s Apartment division since he joined the company in 1997. Wellington A. Ewen, a consultant to the company, had been interim chief financial officer.
