* Tyco International Ltd., the biggest maker of electrical connectors since its $12-billion acquisition of AMP Inc., will eliminate 4,000 jobs by 2002 in addition to the 4,200 that AMP had already planned to cut. Tyco said it expects to take a pretax charge of about $500 million for the cuts for its fiscal third quarter.
