Davos Economic Forum Begins Today
Members of the world’s financial community will meet in Washington today through Thursday for the Davos World Economic Forum’s annual U.S. meeting. Topics include the outlook for the U.S. and world economies and the challenge of globalization. Deputy Treasury Secretary Lawrence Summers will address today’s opening session, and Federal Reserve Gov. Laurence Meyer will speak on “The Changing Face of Currency Standards Worldwide: What Impact for Business.”
