The city is recruiting volunteers for various committees and positions that the City Council is establishing. At Wednesday’s meeting, the council will look at setting up a Planning Commission and appointing someone to the Agency of Aging Persons’ Transportation Committee. Council members also are considering a committee on human affairs to work on issues related to the arts and cultural heritage. Volunteers are also needed to help staff and answer phones in the City Council office once it is established. Applications are available from the city manager: (949) 597-4361.
