The City Council tonight will discuss preliminary budget priorities for fiscal year 1999-2000. After the discussion and public hearings, the council will adopt a budget in July. Items up for discussion include additions to the operating budget for fiscal year 1998-1999, such as an extra $250,000 for law enforcement services, $75,000 for park maintenance and $200,000 contingency for the general operating fund. The council meets at 7 p.m. in chambers, 27841 La Paz Road. Information: (949) 362-4300.
