After years of fighting to keep their favorite place to fly, model airplane hobbyists are about to be told by Orange County planners to take off. The county’s planning commissioners are expected to approve the $8-million expansion of Mile Square Regional Park’s golf course Tuesday. The hobbyists’ last hope is the Save Mile Square Park committee. Chairman Bob Richards said the group is considering a lawsuit against the county.
