Huntington Beach teammates Jeff Ryan and Sam Lightbody produced Orange County-leading marks in the Oliers’ 89-47 loss to 10th-ranked Los Alamitos in a Sunset League boys’ track and field meet Thursday at Huntington Beach.

Ryan cleared 15 feet 7 inches to win the pole vault, which matched the top mark set by Marina’s Logan Odden at last weekend’s Mt. San Antonio College Relays.

Lightbody threw a personal-best 192 feet in the discus, which bettered his previous county-leading mark by nearly six feet.
