Aficionado Unseated

I would like to call your attention to an omission in Elaine Dutka’s article (“L.A. Phil to Jazz Up Season Sans Salonen,” April 16). When mentioning the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion’s new stage extension for next season, you failed to state that the first three rows of seats would have to be removed, some of which are subscription seats, including mine.
It took me five years and thousands of dollars to finally get the seats I wanted. This is unfair, unethical and shows a lack of appreciation for the longtime supporters of the orchestra.
