The tenor is tops in Southern California. Italian singer Andrea Bocelli’s “Sogno” takes the No. 1 position on the Southern California album sales chart as last week’s bestseller, “I Am” from Nas, falls to No. 3. Two new releases made this week’s tally: Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers start at No. 7 with “Echo,” while the solo debut from Mike Ness, the front man from Orange County’s Social Distortion, lands at No. 9 locally despite reaching only No. 80 on the national chart.
