Hart 11, Burbank 1--Matt Friedrichsen, Jamie Shields and Marke Horvat homered in a seven-run fourth inning for the Indians (16-4, 8-1) in a 4 1/2-inning Foothill League game called because of the 10-run rule at Hart.

Shields (5-0) pitched a three-hitter, struck out eight and walked three.

Crespi 9, Harvard-Westlake 3--Marshall Plouffe struck out six and pitched a seven-hitter for the Celts in a Mission League victory at Harvard-Westlake.

Kris Palomares, Tim Leveque and Jonathon Oller each had three hits for Crespi (16-5, 7-1).

Palmdale 19, Quartz Hill 6--John Felkins hit a grand slam in a nine-run third inning and finished with two home runs and five RBIs in a Golden League game. He has 10 home runs this season.

The game was called after the fifth inning because of the 10-run rule.

Chris Testa drove in seven runs with two home runs and a double for Palmdale (12-5, 6-1).

Oxnard 6, Channel Island 2--Eric Fong hit a three-run homer and drove in four runs for the Yellowjackets (7-9-1, 2-4) in a Pacific View League game at Oxnard called after a bench-clearing brawl in the sixth inning.

Freshman Alex Merricks (1-2) scattered four hits and struck out four in three innings for Oxnard.

Rio Mesa 12, Hueneme 7--Anthony Sanchez went five for five and scored three runs for the Spartans in a Pacific View League victory at Hueneme.

Ernie Borjas (6-2) allowed six hits and struck out 10 for Rio Mesa (15-6, 4-4).

Granada Hills 14, Kennedy 6--Peter Gunny had three hits, including a home run, and three RBIs for the Highlanders in a North Valley League victory at Kennedy.

Newbury Park 7, Westlake 2--Joey Hamer hit a home run and two run-scoring singles for the Panthers in a Marmonte League game at Westlake.

Tyler Johnson (3-2), who pitched a six-hitter and struck out seven, hit a two-run double for Newbury Park (11-6, 4-3).

Westlake is 12-4-1, 4-3.

Santa Paula 11, Moorpark 9--Aaron Segovia had three hits and John Reyes hit a two-run home run and the Cardinals won a nonleague game at Moorpark (10-9).

Jacob Macias and Omar Frutos each had two doubles for Santa Paula (2-11-1).

Hoover 10, Glendale 4--Jerry Servin hit a three-run double and the Tornadoes scored five runs in the seventh inning of a Pacific League game at Glendale.

Hoover (12-5, 6-3) hit five doubles.

Art Cordova hit a double and a two-run triple for Glendale.

Notre Dame 11, Louisville 1--Patricia Wetzel hit a three-run triple and had four RBIs for the Knights in a Mission League game called after five innings because of the 10-run rule at Van Nuys Sherman Oaks Park.

Amanda De La Cerda (11-4) pitched a two-hitter for Notre Dame (12-4, 3-1).

Chaminade 6, Alemany 1--Maureen LeCocq (9-2-1) scattered six hits, struck out five and gave up one earned run for the host Eagles (10-6-1, 4-0) in a Mission League victory.

Freshmen Shannon Barceloux had two doubles and two RBIs and Tori Yanaguchi hit a triple and drove in a run.

Hoover 14, Pasadena 1--Cori Herbert pitched a one-hitter with 13 strikeouts and no walks for the Tornadoes in a Pacific League game that was called after five innings because of the 10-run rule at Pasadena.

Herbert (11-4) allowed Pasadena (5-5-1, 1-3 in league) a one-out single in the third.

Calabasas 6, Malibu 1--Sara Hall had three hits, including a double and a triple, and Candy Wang went three for three for the Coyotes in a Frontier League victory at Calabasas.

Amy Rosson (10-2) pitched a five-hitter and struck out eight for Calabasas (10-2-1, 6-0).
