The City Council this week voted to move the annual Cypress Festival from Oxford Academy to Oak Knoll Park, at Orange Avenue and Graham Street. State and federal regulations prevent the Cypress School District from serving alcohol on the school premises; the festival includes a chili and beer garden. As a result, the council decided to switch locations. Mayor Tim Keenan cast the only dissenting vote, saying he didn’t want to break the continuity of the festival. Information: (714) 229-6780.
