LAKE FOREST
The Serrano Creek Conservancy announced plans to repair a branch of the damaged waterway Monday. Conservancy members hope to demonstrate effective methods of erosion and pollution control by restoring a section of Quiet Oak creek, which feeds into Serrano Creek.
The restoration would include reshaping the eroded creek banks and planting trees and other plants that would help filter pollutants out of the water.
