Oleander Alternatives Available at Nursery

Flowerdale Nurseries Inc. of Orange County is stocking plants to replace the diseased oleander plants throughout the county.

General Manager Scott Lathrop says, “With the loss of most oleanders, many homeowners are looking for an alternate to plant along property lines.”

The Carolina Laurel Cherry “is probably the most popular plant used to replace the oleander,” he says.
