CYPRESS
City Manager Mark Ochenduszko announced his resignation Monday after serving three years. He will leave to become city manager for the city of Coronado in San Diego County.
“It’s a great opportunity for me and my family to go home,” said the 44-year-old Ochenduszko, whose hometown is San Diego. He has worked for Coronado twice before--first as an intern when he was 21 and later as a department head. He had also been Campbell city manager before he came to Cypress.
Ochenduszko’s last day is Sept. 15. A new city manager has not been named.
