College Picks Up Pace for Degrees
Oxnard College will unveil a new program today geared toward working adults.
The Program for Accelerated College Education enables busy workers to complete the first two years of a bachelor’s degree at a faster pace.
As many as 400 students will participate in the community college program, which begins this fall. Students can either take liberal studies or business administration classes, offered in the evenings and on Saturdays.
The ceremony and orientation begin at 9 a.m. and will take place at the new Cal State Channel Islands campus south of Camarillo.
