‘Pet Owner’

What do you call someone who is in a position to sell his pet (“Activist Wants to Put a Muzzle on Those Who Say ‘Pet Owner,’ ” Aug. 15)? How about a “pet owner”? Instead of “selling a pet,” I suppose we’ll have to start calling it “a parting of the ways.”

Someday the world will be filled with sweet candy and we won’t have changed a thing.
