The City Council tonight will consider spending $2,100 to participate in the West Orange County Cities Feasibility and Alignment Study, which aims to identify the western part of the county’s rail needs. The preliminary budget for the study is $105,000. Based on its small population, the city will pay about 2% of the budget. Nearby Stanton, with a larger population, pays slightly more at $5,250. The council meets at 7 p.m. at 3191 Katella Ave.
