DANA POINT
The City Council will meet tonight to raise the amount of money the city can bring in through taxes. State law places limits on the amount cities can tax its property owners and businesses. The council will consider increasing this appropriation limit from $38.259 million to $43.744 million for fiscal year 1999 and to $46.093 million for the fiscal year 2000.
