The City Council is seeking applicants to serve on the city’s Personnel Board. The board hears appeals relating to disciplinary action, dismissal, demotion, reduction in pay or suspension of city employees. Three two-year positions are open Oct. 1. Interested Laguna Beach residents must file an application with the city clerk by Sept. 15. The council will interview applicants Sept. 21. Information: (949) 497-0705.
