Midbury Street residents will have everything in place, including a zoning designation for their unincorporated Los Angeles County neighborhood, if they vote next month to be annexed into Brea.
The Planning Commission on Tuesday approved zoning Midbury Street, which has 42 homes, as low-density residential in preparation for the annexation. The residents about a year ago asked to become a part of the city to receive Brea’s police and fire services.
Midbury is just north of Brea’s city limits. Los Angeles and Orange county officials approved a boundary change recently to include Midbury in Orange County.
