THE SAFETY ZONE: ACTION LOG

The Times publishes a daily list of police incident reports provided by local law enforcement agencies. The Times prints items as soon as departments make them available. Because many departments release incident reports only weekly, not every community will be represented in each day’s Action Log. Authorities from the following cities released incident reports Thursday:

BREA

* North Tamarack Avenue: A petty theft was reported in the 500 block at 5:49 p.m. Monday.

BUENA PARK

* Orangethorpe Avenue: Two juveniles tried stealing beer, but dropped it while leaving a grocery store in the 7500 block Sunday.

CYPRESS

* Orange Avenue: A Sony CD player valued at $350 was stolen from a Honda Civic in the 10000 block.

DANA POINT

* Salt Creek Road: An alarm in the 33000 block was triggered at 1:07 p.m. Tuesday.

FOUNTAIN VALLEY

* Brookhurst Street: A locked utility closet was broken into in the 18300 block Wednesday.

FULLERTON

* Deerpark Drive: An auto burglary was reported in the 2000 block at 8:24 a.m. Monday.

HUNTINGTON BEACH

* Goldenwest Street: Someone pounded on the walls and yelled at a home in the 17100 block at 11:59 p.m. Saturday.

IRVINE

* Barranca Parkway: A cellular phone was reported stolen from an Amtrak station in the 15215 block at 2:01 p.m. Tuesday.

LAGUNA HILLS

* Alicia Parkway and Interstate 5: Deputies responded to a report of a reckless driver at 11:49 p.m. Tuesday.

LAGUNA NIGUEL

* Curfew Lane: Deputies responded to a report of a reckless driver in the 28000 block at 2:43 p.m. Wednesday.

LA HABRA

* South Palm Street: Police arrested a suspicious person in the 400 block Sunday.

LAKE FOREST

* Ridge Route Drive and Elrond Lane: A reckless driver was reported Tuesday.

MISSION VIEJO

* Via Matador: A burglary was reported in the 26000 block at 1:55 p.m. Tuesday.

PLACENTIA

* East Yorba Linda Boulevard: A petty theft reported in the 200 block Monday.

SAN CLEMENTE

* Calle Las Bolas: A robbery alarm in the 1000 block was triggered at 1:09 p.m. Tuesday.

TUSTIN

* Tustin Village Way: Police advised residents to turn down their loud music in the 15700 block at 2:54 p.m. Saturday.

VILLA PARK

* Wanda Road at Katella Avenue: A traffic collision was reported at 5:56 p.m. Tuesday.

YORBA LINDA

* Avocado Avenue: Vandalism was reported in the 4000 block at 12:23 p.m. Monday.

Authorities from the following cities did not release incident reports Thursday: Anaheim, Costa Mesa, Garden Grove, Laguna Beach, Laguna Woods, La Palma, Los Alamitos, Newport Beach, Orange, San Juan Capistrano, Santa Ana, Seal Beach, Stanton, and Yorba Linda.
