Walt Disney Co.’s Buena Vista Internet Group says it has taken a controlling interest in toysmart.com, an Internet retail company. Terms were not disclosed.

BVIG creates and operates a variety of Disney Co. Web sites, including Disney.com, ABC.com and ESPN.com. Toysmart.com specializes in high-end durable toys with educational value, such as building blocks, puzzles and crafts.
