Construction has begun on the new $45-million Seacliff Village shopping center at the corner of Goldenwest Street and Yorktown Avenue. The new 258,000-square-foot retail center will be the second largest shopping center in Huntington Beach, builders say. Major businesses set to be a part of Seacliff Village are a combination Lucky and Sav-on Drugs store, Orchard Supply Hardware, Blockbuster Video, Washington Mutual bank, McDonald’s, Del Taco and Chevron gas station.

Some of the stores are expected to open in January and some in August.
