THE SAFETY ZONE: ACTION LOG

The Times publishes a daily list of police incident reports provided by local law enforcement agencies. The Times prints items as soon as departments make them available. Because many departments release incident reports only weekly, not every community will be represented in each day’s Action Log. Authorities from the following cities released incident reports Wednesday:

BREA

* East Birch Street: A petty theft was reported in the 900 block at 12:53 p.m. Monday.

* East Imperial Highway: Petty thefts were reported in the 1000 block at 9:22 a.m. and in the 2500 block at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday.

* North Brea Boulevard: A petty theft was reported in the 500 block at 4:38 a.m. Monday.

FOUNTAIN VALLEY

* Bushard Street: There was an armed robbery at Little Caesar’s restaurant at Warner Avenue at 7:45 p.m. Saturday. An undetermined amount of cash was taken.

GARDEN GROVE

* Pacific Coast Highway: A transient broke into a restroom at Magnolia Street about 6 a.m. Saturday and refused to come out.

* Haster Street: A person reporting a vehicle robbery in the 12000 block on Friday told police he was approached by one suspect seeking “drugs and a ride.” When he declined, three other suspects got in the car, scaring him out. He told police the suspects drove off in his car.

* Trask Avenue: Three 17-year-old boys and a fourth male, age unknown, reported gunshots fired at them from a passing vehicle in the 12000 block Friday.. The group was standing outside of a party when shot. All of the victims were taken to UCI Medical Center in Orange.

LAGUNA HILLS

* Caminito Andreta: A 1999 Toyota Tacoma was reported broken into in the 23300 block at 3:40 p.m. Monday. The thief smashed the window and stole compact discs and a phone charger. The incident is believed to have happened between midnight and 4 a.m.

* La Cadena Drive: The doors of an office in the 23100 block were pried open between 10:50 and 11:55 p.m. Tuesday. A computer valued at $2,000 was stolen.

* San Amadeo: A seat and handlebars were taken from an electric cart in the carport of a residence in the 30000 block at 8 a.m. Monday.

LAGUNA NIGUEL

* Alicia Parkway: A 1991 GMC Jimmy was reported stolen from a parking lot of a business in the 29900 block at 10:50 p.m. Friday.

* Cabot Road: A suspect was cited and released after being caught trying to shoplift at a store in the 27900 block at 4:20 p.m. Friday.

* Street of the Golden Lantern: A 1991 Honda Civic in the 30000 block was reported damaged at 9:35 p.m. Friday.

* Terracina: A man in the 29500 block reported that the left front tire of his 1989 Toyota pickup was punctured at 8:20 p.m. Friday.

LA HABRA

* South Beach Boulevard: An alarm went off in the 500 block at 12:16 a.m. Sunday.

* East Brookdale Avenue: Police responded to a report of vandalism in the 2200 block at 3:48 p.m. Sunday.

* Chestnut Street and Whittier Boulevard: A prowler was reported at 3:47 a.m. Sunday.

* South Cypress Street: An auto theft was reported in the 1100 block at 5:44 p.m. Monday.

PLACENTIA

* North Placentia Avenue: A petty theft was reported in the 1800 block at 3:47 p.m. Tuesday.

* North Valencia Avenue: An embezzlement was reported in the 2200 block at 3:16 p.m. Tuesday.

* South Bradford Avenue: Malicious mischief was reported in the 100 block at 5:47 p.m. Tuesday.

TUSTIN

* Keller Drive: A car burglary was reported in the 2000 block at 8:11 a.m. Monday.

* Nisson Road: A suspicious person was reported in the 1000 block at 11:02 p.m. Monday.

* Robinson Drive: A suspicious car was reported in the 300 block at 11:31 p.m. Monday.

YORBA LINDA

* Berryhill Drive: A burglary was reported in the 5400 block at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Authorities from the following cities did not release incident reports Wednesday: Anaheim, Buena Park, Costa Mesa, Cypress, Dana Point, Fullerton, Huntington Beach, Irvine, Laguna Beach, Laguna Woods, Lake Forest, La Palma, Los Alamitos, Mission Viejo, Newport Beach, Orange, San Clemente, San Juan Capistrano, Santa Ana, Seal Beach, Stanton, Villa Park and Westminster.
