King Heads Up Aviation Distributors

William D. King has been named chairman and chief executive of Aviation Distributors, a Lake Forest airplane parts reseller. Salem Naber, who served as interim chief executive and president since March 1998, is retiring but will remain a director of the company.

King has been a consultant for Aviation for six months. He previously was with JWP Inc. as executive vice president and president of the company’s electrical and mechanical group. Before that, he was president and chief operating officer of IT Group.

* Greg Farrier and David Giglio have joined the Anaheim office of Grubb & Ellis Co. as associate vice presidents with the Office Services Group. Farrier was previously an office specialist and member of the tenant advisory services team at CB Richard Ellis. Giglio had been an office properties specialist at CB Richard Ellis.

* Paul Zalle has been named to the newly created position of vice president and director of audit at New Century Financial Corp. in Irvine. Zalle joined the company from Avco Financial Services, where he was vice president of international auditing and corporate compliance officer. Before that, he was Western regional audit director for Textron Inc.

* Carmella Cassetta has been selected vice president of product development for PrintNation.com in Newport Beach. Cassetta was formerly vice president of E-commerce technology and development for the eSolutions Group at Ingram Micro Inc. Before that, she was vice president of Internet technology and development at barnesandnoble.com.

* Nicole Khastoo has joined the Anaheim Hilton as sales manager. She was previously an associate sales manager at the Newport Beach Conference and Visitors Bureau.

* Mark C. Lewis has been named president of CalGraph Technology Services Inc. in Fullerton, a wholly owned subsidiary of Tekgraf Inc. Lewis was formerly director of business development for CalGraph. Before that, Lewis was founder and chief executive of Media Graphics Distribution in Torrance, which was acquired by Tekgraf in 1998.

* David Bruesehoff has been appointed vice president of human resources for Systems Management Specialists, a Santa Ana-based outsourcing, systems integration and computer services firm. Previously, Bruesehoff held management positions at Ernst & Young in Los Angeles, and was regional director of human resources for Vitas Healthcare Corp.

* Todd Palmaer has been appointed president of the San Diego division of Costa Mesa-based Standard Pacific Corp. He had been president of the San Diego division of Greystone Homes. Palmaer succeeds Ken Cablay, who will assume a new executive position focused on managing the division’s land development efforts, the company said.

* Les Goldberg has joined Uniloc Co., a Huntington Beach provider of electronic software distribution for the personal computer industry, as director of corporate communications. He had been vice president of public relations for GreenLight Communications in Newport Beach for two years and before that ran Les Goldberg Public Relations, which he founded in 1985.

* Brian Bonar has joined the board of directors of Pen Interconnect Inc. in Irvine. He is president and chief executive of Imaging Technologies Corp. in San Diego.

* Stephen Odell has been appointed vice president of marketing and sales for Mazda North American Operations in Irvine, effective Jan. 1. Odell was previously vice president of marketing and sales for Jaguar North America.
