The City Council could award contracts for the design and management of a park lighting improvement project today. The city has proposed adding lighting to Cavanaugh, Cherry, Darrin, El Toro II, Rimgate, Village Pond and Vintage parks. City staff will hold public workshops to get input from residents near the parks on all lighting projects. The council could hire one engineering firm for $43,800 to design and manage the project. The council also could pay another company $63,500 to administer construction of the lighting, staff reports said. The City Council will meet at 7 p.m. at Lake Forest City Hall, 23161 Lake Center Drive.
