Saying he didn’t remember much about Sunday’s game at Oakland, cornerback Chris Canty of the Seattle Seahawks reported to work at the team’s headquarters in Kirkland, Wash., still feeling the effects of a concussion on a scary play.

“Man, I can’t relate too much about yesterday,” Canty said. “The whole day was kind of blurry. I’m still sort of in a daze.”

Canty lay motionless on the field for 12 minutes late in the fourth quarter of Seattle’s 30-21 loss.

Carolina Panther wide receiver Rae Carruth and three others were indicted in Charlotte, N.C., on charges they plotted to kill the player’s pregnant girlfriend. A Charlotte-Mecklenburg County grand jury indicted the men on conspiracy to commit first-degree murder, attempted murder and shooting into an occupied vehicle.

Five hours later, Carruth posted a $3-million bond and was released. The terms of his release call for Carruth to remain in Mecklenburg County but stay away from the victim, her family and Carolinas Medical Center.
