Committee Seeks Input on Budget
Continuing efforts to get broad public input into the city budget, a Los Angeles City Council panel will meet here today to hear what residents believe should be the priorities for the next fiscal year.
The council’s Budget and Finance Committee will meet at 6:30 p.m. at 4935 Balboa Ave., Encino, to hear testimony and discuss budget priorities for the fiscal year beginning July 1.
The council panel will also take up a report on the city attorney’s proposal to require tobacco vendors to obtain licenses as part of an effort to reduce the sale of cigarettes to minors.
