SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO
Capistrano Unified School District officials are considering a proposal submitted last month by two psychologists for a course that teaches high school students anger management and conflict resolution.
Local psychologists Haig Musurlian and Valerie Want have developed a program called the Breakfast Club to diffuse anger and prevent violence on campus.
Musurlian and Want gave a demonstration of their course at Mission Viejo High School. They are helping to develop a similar program for the Newport-Mesa Unified School District.
School district officials have not set a date to make their decision.
