THE SAFETY ZONE: ACTION LOG

The Times publishes a daily list of police incident reports provided by local law enforcement agencies. The Times prints items as soon as departments make them available. Because many departments release incident reports only weekly, not every community will be represented in each day’s Action Log. Authorities from the following cities released incident reports Tuesday:

BREA

* East Imperial Highway: A burglary was reported in the 2000 block at 3:17 p.m. Sunday.

* Birch Street: A missing person was reported in the 1900 block at 8:09 a.m. Sunday.

* Brea Mall: A petty theft was reported in the 500 block at 3:16 p.m. Sunday.

FOUNTAIN VALLEY

* Brookhurst Street: A man stood in front of a business in the 18200 block with his pants and underwear around his knees at 6:57 p.m. Saturday. The man fled after a woman in the business saw him.

FULLERTON

* East Chapman Avenue: A drunk driver was reported in the 2700 block at 2:39 p.m. Monday.

* South Harbor Boulevard: A petty theft was reported in the 1400 block at 1:49 p.m. Monday.

GARDEN GROVE

* Brookhurst Street: A drug store was robbed at gunpoint in the 13000 block Dec. 1. No one was injured and the suspect fled on foot with $500, sunglasses and a candy bar.

HUNTINGTON BEACH

* Pacific Coast Highway: After removing her clothes, a woman who was talking to herself refused to leave the restroom of Chimayo Restaurant in the 300 block at Pacific Coast Highway at 11:07 a.m. Friday.

IRVINE

* Alton Parkway at Jamboree Road: A noninjury traffic accident was reported at 3:50 p.m. Monday.

* Damara: Jewelry worth $1,300 was reported stolen at 2:14 p.m. Monday from a residence in the first block.

* Main Street: A purse was reported stolen at 10:47 a.m. Monday at Embassy Suites in the 2100 block.

* Moulins Circle: Mail was reported stolen from a mailbox at a residence in the 15300 block at 10:26 a.m. Monday.

LAGUNA HILLS

* Lake Forest Lane: A laptop computer was reported stolen from an office in the 23000 block between 7:30 p.m. Thursday and 8:15 a.m. Friday. There was no sign of forced entry.

* El Toro Road: Someone stole $600 from a safe at the Unocal Gas Station in the 25000 block. The theft was reported at 1:40 p.m. Friday. It is believed that the theft occurred during the night. There was no sign of forced entry.

* Los Alisos Boulevard: Four vehicles were reported vandalized in the 24500 block between 12:30 and 8 a.m. Saturday. The rear window was smashed on a 1987 Nissan Sentra, from which a CD player was stolen. A 1986 Toyota pickup had its camper shell forced open and a CD player and amplifier were stolen. A 1987 Nissan had its driver’s side window smashed and its stereo stolen, and a 1991 Honda Civic had its passenger window smashed with no reported loss.

LA HABRA

* South Beach Boulevard: An alarm went off in the 1100 block at 11:36 a.m. Saturday.

* South Beach Boulevard: A petty theft was reported in the 1000 block at 5:24 a.m. Saturday.

LAKE FOREST

* Lake Forest Lane: A person ran out of a liquor store in the 21700 block at 8:05 p.m. Saturday without paying for beer.

* Ridge Route Drive at El Rond Lane: Deputies responded at 3:55 p.m. Saturday to a collision between a car and a bicyclist. The vehicle ran a stop sign and struck the bicyclist, who had moderate injuries.

MISSION VIEJO

* Ardisa: The rear window of a vehicle was reported smashed in the 24000 block at 8:45 a.m. Friday. No loss was reported.

* Bridgeton at Camden: Two vehicles were reported burglarized at 7:10 a.m. Friday. One vehicle was broken into and had its battery stolen. The stereo, speakers, cell phone and cash were reported stolen from the second vehicle.

* Via Fabricante: A commercial burglary was reported in the 24000 block at 7:40 a.m. Thursday. The front glass door was smashed. The loss was a cash register and an undisclosed amount of cash.

PLACENTIA

* Jefferson Street at Orangethorpe Avenue: A hit-and-run was reported at 9:20 a.m. Monday.

* Jefferson Street: A grand theft was reported at 11:09 a.m. Monday.

* North Kraemer Boulevard: A burglary was reported in the 2100 block at 2:22 p.m. Monday.

YORBA LINDA

* Nightingale Lane: Police gave medical aid in the 16000 block at 10:31 p.m. Sunday.

* Savi Ranch Parkway: A noninjury accident was reported in the 22000 block at 1:28 p.m. Sunday.

* Via De La Plaza: A petty theft was reported in the 4400 block at 5 p.m. Sunday.

Authorities from the following cities did not release incident reports Tuesday: Anaheim, Buena Park, Costa Mesa, Cypress, Dana Point, Laguna Beach, Laguna Niguel, Laguna Woods, La Palma, Los Alamitos, Newport Beach, Orange, San Clemente, San Juan Capistrano, Santa Ana, Seal Beach, Stanton, Tustin, Villa Park and Westminster.
