Ice Dogs Lose Penalty-Filled Game

The Long Beach Ice Dogs lost, 4-0, Wednesday night to Western Conference rival Utah in a hard, physical game at Salt Lake City. The teams combined for 107 penalty minutes in the first period.
Ice Dog captain Rene Chapdelaine and Utah enforcer Mick Vukota received game misconduct penalties at 17:46 of the first.
Brad Lauer led the Grizzlies with two goals. Utah goalie Rich Parent stopped all 24 Ice Dog shots for the victory.
