District Increases Room Fees at Parks
At the Rossmoor Community Services District meeting Wednesday night, directors passed a resolution allowing an increase in the fees for use of the unincorporated area’s facilities.
Hourly fees to rent rooms at the Montecito Center, Rossmoor Park and Rush Park will increase fivefold in order to keep up with similar fees other cities are charging. According to information provided by the district, rental revenue from these facilities amount to about $16,851 a year while expenses to operate them amount to about $89,469.
