At the Rossmoor Community Services District meeting Wednesday night, directors passed a resolution allowing for an increase in the fees and charges for use of the unincorporated area’s facilities.
Hourly fees to rent rooms at the Montecito Center, Rossmoor Park and Rush Park will increase fivefold in order to keep up with fees other cities are charging for the use of their facilities. According to information provided by the district, rental revenue from these facilities amounted to about $16,851 a year while the expenses to operate the facilities amounted to about $89,469.
