That B in BCS Stands for Bruised
At least once in the college football season, can The Times please move past the Bruin-Trojan whinefest and take a look at the real problems in college football that the BCS causes? Since when does a team like Virginia Tech that did not play a team that finished in the top 20 all season deserve a title shot over a team with a rigorous Big 12 schedule, like Nebraska? Does anyone honestly believe that a team that pummeled West Virginia by a whopping two points could have beaten Kansas State, Texas A&M;, and Texas by an average of almost 30 points, as the Cornhuskers did? Virginia Tech is nothing but a glorified Marshall.
