An expanded local stocks chart, providing more information in an easier-to-read format, makes its debut today in Valley Business.
The chart of biggest gainers and losers, renamed Weekly Regional Report, has been expanded from five companies in each category to 10. In addition, the chart now includes the 52-week high and low for these stocks.
The main stocks chart now provides share prices as of Monday’s market close, instead of Friday’s. To make it easier to track stocks, the chart has been expanded to include company ticker symbols and the exchange they are traded on.
The new chart also adds the market capitalization (shares outstanding multiplied by share price) for each company. It appears on B7.
