THE SAFETY ZONE: ACTION LOG

The Times publishes a daily list of police incident reports provided by local law enforcement agencies. The Times prints items as soon as departments make them available. Because many departments release incident reports only weekly, not every community will be represented in each day’s Action Log. Authorities from the following cities released incident reports Thursday:

BREA

* Orangethorpe Avenue at Orange Freeway: A drunken driver was reported at 11:20 p.m. Saturday.

* State College Boulevard at Chapman Avenue: A pursuit of a stolen vehicle was reported at 5:43 a.m. Saturday.

FOUNTAIN VALLEY

* Banana Street: Someone broke into a home in the 16000 block and took $2,700 worth of items at 3:35 p.m. Tuesday.

* Harbor Boulevard: A woman said someone scratched her car while it was being cleaned at a carwash in the 16600 block at 3:37 p.m. Monday.

* Slater Avenue: Someone entered a 7-Eleven in the 10545 block and began arguing with the clerk over the price of an item. The suspect got upset and ran behind the counter. The suspect then pushed the clerk and punched him in the chest at 10:46 p.m. Sunday.

FULLERTON

* Lombard Drive: A hit-and-run accident was reported in the 1500 block at 10:51 p.m. Sunday.

* West Orangethorpe Avenue: A petty theft was reported in the 900 block at 5:11 p.m. Sunday.

* North Placentia Avenue: A burglary was reported in the 1100 block at 7:04 p.m. Sunday.

* South Placentia Avenue: A burglar alarm went off in the 600 block at 4:36 p.m. Sunday.

GARDEN GROVE

* Orangewood Avenue: An Anaheim man was arrested on suspicion of assaulting another man with a penknife in the 7000 block at 9:51 p.m. Sunday. The victim’s cheek was reportedly slashed after a brief fistfight in a bar.

LA HABRA

* West Sandalwood Avenue: A suspicious vehicle was reported in the 900 block at 10:34 p.m. Sunday.

* Monte Vista Street at Lambert Road: A suspicious vehicle was reported at 2:28 p.m. Sunday.

* South Beach Boulevard: A petty theft was reported in the 700 block at 12:51 a.m. Monday.

TUSTIN

* Woodlawn Avenue: Report of a hit-and-run car accident in the 15000 block at 10:42 a.m. Tuesday.

* East Main Street: Property was reported stolen from a car in the 1000 block at 1:28 p.m. Tuesday.

* Prospect Park South: A suspicious person was reported in the 300 block at 8:40 p.m. Tuesday.

YORBA LINDA

* Via Bravo: A petty theft was reported in the 5500 block at 8:09 a.m. Sunday.

* Via Lenardo: A grand theft was reported in the 24000 block at 11:40 a.m. Sunday.

* Chicago Avenue: A petty theft was reported in the 17000 block at 10:07 a.m. Saturday.

Authorities from the following cities did not release incident reports Thursday: Anaheim, Buena Park, Costa Mesa, Cypress, Dana Point, Huntington Beach, Irvine, Laguna Beach, Laguna Hills, Laguna Niguel, Laguna Woods, Lake Forest, La Palma, Los Alamitos, Mission Viejo, Newport Beach, Orange, Placentia, San Clemente, San Juan Capistrano, Santa Ana, Seal Beach, Stanton, Villa Park and Westminster.
