El Dorado High School drama students will don their Victorian costumes again next month to give an encore presentation of “Jane Eyre,” the production that was named best play of the year from among area high schools.
The California Educational Theatre Assn. this month gave El Dorado’s drama department its top award from among more than 20 high schools in Orange, San Bernardino and Riverside counties.
For those who missed one of the initial performances, the teenage thespians will stage “Jane Eyre” on Jan. 14 at Plummer Auditorium, 201 E. Chapman Ave. in Fullerton. The play begins at 7:30 p.m. and tickets will be available to the public one hour before curtain time at the auditorium. Admission is $5.
