Wally George’s Predicament
I usually agree with Dana Parsons, but his Dec. 10 column about feeling sorry for Wally George didn’t sit well with me.
I find it ironic that George now finds himself financially ruined by enormous medical bills--he who for years railed against a national health system.
That George has now joined the legion of uninsured people who over the years have had their life savings wiped out by catastrophic medical bills can only be considered fitting justice.
And who should we feel sorry for in George’s case? How about George’s many creditors?
