Orangewood Children’s Home received a special delivery Saturday of 15 new tricycles, bicycles and scooters and 15 helmets donated by the Orange County Wheelmen, the largest bicycle club in the county.
The club promotes the cycling community and offers donations to various organizations year round.
“We wanted to do this because there is a need there, and it promotes cycling as a physical, healthy activity,” said Sylvia Pohlmeyer, an Orange County Wheelmen spokeswoman.
