* State auditors discover that $1 million that should have gone to education at Cal State Fullerton was misused by university officials for a variety of frivolous, self-serving purposes (Dec. 15). Furthermore, President Milton Gordon refuses to sign a perjury statement. CSU Chancellor Charles Reed then dismisses the whole thing as unimportant.
Business as usual in the CSU; accountability stops where administration begins.
