Classes on CPR and first aid will be held Jan. 12 and 13 at Saddleback Memorial Medical Center. The basics of first aid, including treatment for shock, bleeding, burns and poisoning, will be taught on Jan. 12. The guidelines on cardiopulmonary resuscitation and information on choking, heart attacks and stroke warning signs will be covered Jan. 13. All students will receive a participation card for the class. Both classes will meet from 6 to 9 p.m. at the hospital, 24451 Health Center Drive. The fee is $25 for each class.
