BofA Market Exec Is Named Senior V.P.

* Bank of America has promoted Fung Der, a market executive with the bank’s Premier Banking Group in Southern California, to senior vice president. She heads the L.A. division for the Pasadena-based banking group and is responsible for providing enhanced personal service to select clients.

* Digital Theater Systems Inc. of Agoura Hills has named Ross Hering vice president of marketing for its newly formed professional audio division. Hering previously worked at Lucasfilm, where he helped develop its THX division and marketed the film sound technology.

* David Rane, executive vice president and chief financial officer of Callaway Golf Co., the Carlsbad golf equipment maker, is leaving the company to join StoreRunner Inc., which operates an Internet shopping portal based in San Diego.
