Countrywide Credit Posts Rise in Quarterly Earnings

Countrywide Credit Industries Inc., Calabasas, reported net earnings for the third quarter ended Nov. 30 of $100.6 million compared with $98 million for the same period a year ago. Revenues fell to $491.8 million, from $514 million.

Countrywide Industries provides mortgage loans for single-family homes through its primary subsidiary Countrywide Home Loans.
