The city will begin work next month to create an animal registry that is expected to help residents locate lost pets, City Manager Leslie Keane said. A computer database is already in place, she said. Residents who volunteer at City Hall will also log information into the database about pets, including their physical description with the owners’ names, addresses and phone numbers. Information: (949) 452-0600.
