LA PALMA
The City Council, during its last meeting of 1999, voted to postpone the first scheduled meeting of the new year to give staff additional time to prepare city documents. The shortened workweeks caused by the Christmas and New Year’s holidays were blamed for the setback.
The first meeting will be held Jan. 11 in City Council chambers, 7822 Walker St., at 7:30 p.m.
