Apple Computer Inc. is expected to announce cuts of as many as 600 jobs at its plant at Cork in southwest Ireland this week, Dublin’s Sunday business Post said. The jobs were expected to go as a result of Apple’s decision to subcontract production of its iMac computer to South Korea’s LG Electronics, the paper added. A company official declines to comment on the report
