COSTA MESA
The former director of finance for the city of Flint, Mich., will serve as Costa Mesa’s new city treasurer and director of finance. Marc Puckett began work as finance director this week and was appointed as city treasurer this week during a special City Council meeting.
Puckett was chosen from a pool of 40 candidates, city officials said. He succeeds City Treasurer and Finance Director Susan Temple, who died in 1997.
