Vicki on “Suddenly Susan” and the voice of Alice on the new animated show “Dilbert.” She also performs stand-up most Monday nights at Largo.

Back to Her Roots: I go to the Groundlings’ all-improv show Thursdays at 8 p.m. You never know who the special guest is going to be. They have anyone from Groundling alums like me or Lisa Kudrow to Mike Myers or Justine Bateman. Afterward, it’s Tommy Tang’s, just two doors down, for Thai food. . . . Then I go home and watch “ER” on tape. Inevitably I’m crying by the end of the show--though not necessarily about the episode.

Post-Show: After filming “Suddenly Susan” on Fridays, I go to Largo to see Jon Brion’s show. He sings and plays his own songs. Sometimes there are surprise performers, but usually it’s just him, and he’s really witty. Afterward, I probably hook up with some of the comics at Cat and Fiddle and watch them get drunk. Since I don’t drink I’ll just get French fries.

Morning Routine: There are no morning activities on any favorite weekend. I sleep in and yell at the gardener if he’s being noisy.

Los Feliz Living: Take the tour of Hollyhock House in Barnsdall Art Park and take some time to worship the master Frank Lloyd Wright. After that, I’d go for a snack at House of Pies and then to a movie at the Los Feliz 3. I’d browse at Skylight Books and then head to the Fatburger at Vermont and Hollywood for a lovely dinner. I go there for the food, but also for the ambience.

View-Finder: Sunday afternoon, let’s go for a hike at Will Rogers State Park. It’s a way to feel like you’re not in L.A. It’s just beautiful and verdant with a view of the ocean. Then, a late lunch at El Cholo, the one in Santa Monica, and to my mom and dad’s condo to listen to them bitch and moan about politics.

High Drama: Sunday night I gather as many gay guys as I can find at my house to watch some horrible movie of the week--hopefully one where Nancy McKeon has an eating disorder or Judith Light is beating her husband.
