I Want My C-SPAN

Share

Compliments to Howard Rosenberg for his article critical of the giant cable operator TCI for not providing C-SPAN2 in some areas (“Taking a Welcome Page From Book TV,” Feb. 1).

I have begged, cajoled, whimpered, argued that we should be provided with C-SPAN-1 for 24 hours a day in our area of Riverside County. I have pointed out the many channels we would be willing to forgo if only we could have both C-SPANs.

It will be wonderful if Rosenberg is instrumental in getting for our area the service that we so eagerly await.

Rosenberg’s column surprised me. I thought the loss of C-SPAN2 was a local situation in the San Fernando Valley.

When I complained in writing to Time Warner, I got a reply on the telephone that in essence said, “Tough bananas.” I hope Rosenberg’s column will have more effect than my letter.
